wow so its the 10th already!so far how has the year been 4 u guys? for me..its been all right i guess..some good news..bt i haven't told anyone..lets wait for it to be confirmed before anything =)

after a week in the new year, i went home(yes,again) ahaha.. for something (yes, besides samelan) that we'd been waiting and waiting for..and finally it came! it was gurreet phenji's wedding.

on friday we reached pandan lake club to see her doing work! hahaha have you seen a bride carrying tables and chairs before? she looked lovely =) and the mehndi on her was weeee!

the sangeet was soo cute and then before we knew it,saturday came.

i have to say i was smiling so hard when she walked into Darbar Sahib =)

the anand karaj was beautiful with cunted kirtan (Raja ;P)

and so im back here now, taking a break from an assignment now,since fb is taking a gazillion years to open..
missing all of u (esp mommy!)

wow its the 2nd already, and more importantly, 2009 has passed us by!

hmm..so this year new year was weird again, being here. but unlike last year, where we had classes!on nw years,it was a friday this year. so we were left with nothing much to do unless you count mulling over how it would be back home an enjoyable activity. so the gang called for a meeting at our favourite eatery hahaha the tong sampah shop. after discussion it was decided we would go to meg's place in dungun on new year's. so on the eve, unlike last year again when we were engrossed (and shocked) in an agm, we went to town to drop janet off and have dinner (good dinner it was too =B ) and then back to hang out at the hostel grounds.

then what happened was totally awesome! we were talking away, then went to the gazebo for our countdown when what happens to be there but cakes arranged in a circle for all our missed birthdays!it was soo cool with candles all around =) soo we ooohed and aahed and looked at the little cards and thanked the ones who pulled it off.. they did amazing! going out secretively and hiding the whole thing from us. so after all that i went back to my room..but before that a pit stop at the akkas' next door who were throwing their own party..hahaha and then it was bedtime. on new years we bundled up to dungun and a delicious lunch awaited us! haha after lunch we lazed about and the heroines went shopping for the big bad barbeque that night. and was it good. while we watched tv and erm..tried to help, the others (darish,purni, meg, thuls, kalai n archu) prepared..lets see..mashed potatoes, beehoon,vege balls, the creation (mashed potatoes + eggs), french fries, the grilled stuff.. and of course con,broccoli etc. well it was so sweet of them to specially make stuff for thambi and I =) so we ate and we talked and we stuffed, we fell asleep.hahaa..today we came back and slept! and now..are online. that's about it for these 2 days. when i know back home it would be gurdwara, khalsa jee and chardikala and everyone else doing kirtan and oh..but what can be done.Happy new Year all.
